Beas Kund to Camp1

Steep Climb from Beas Kund lake .. the beginning..

I wish I could show you the scale of steepness.. the grey scree bed is where we camped last night

see the frozen river turning, Camp1 is just above there somewhere... Slowly and steadily we where approaching our destination for day

I hope, Vivek climbing in the picture above, gives you the scale of steepness...

Not trying to Bragg here, but hell it was steep and our heavy bags made our life that much more difficult..

the peak right in center is the Shitidhar.. our penultimate target..

if you enlarge the picture above, look at the two black spots on the left side, below Vivek... those are Chander and Ramu. I hope by now you get the scale of steepness...

soon the weather started turning its back on us... and Clouds engulfed the white peaks...

and in no time it started to Snow..
